Intertwined 

Students worked with the idea of intertwining to help decipher their imagery for this assignment. They had open choices as to what medium they could use but one of the requirements was they had to incorporate string/ribbon throughout the piece as it needs to morph into something else. 

In Class Sticky-Note Critique

Especially because of Covid, students were mostly at their desks working individually. I wanted them to be able to experience and see what their peers had done therefore, I came up with sticky-note critiquing. This created an opportunity for them to gain and give feedback to their peers which acted as both formative feedback for myself and them. 

For this assignment, students were asked to disfigure selfies of themselves and rearrange their photos in a composition they think would best represent them. Students had the choice to use colour or explore the idea of "lack of colour."
