Doing my field III experience was definitely enjoyable, however, working through a pandemic had its limitations and rules. Adhering to the restrictions the government had put in place was essential to keeping numbers low and contained. The precautions and measures were taken seriously at my practicum school and one of the protocols required student teachers to fill in and send back a document that listed our name and contact information, in the case we were in close contact. 

 

Along with this, steps to ensure students sanitized their hands and wiped down their desks before the start of every class were fulfilled as well. As a student teacher, I followed the pre-existing policies and procedures set out by the school everyday. All the steps taken were important to keep students, teachers, administration and custodians safe.
